1. Who we are

This website is operated by Aimi Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17488056 and registered office at 20 Bentinck Street, London, England, W1U 2EU (“we”, “us”). 2. What personal data we collect

• Information you send us when you contact us at hello@aimigroup.com or by post: your name, contact details and the content of your message.
• Limited technical data generated when you visit the site (your IP address) held in our hosting provider's server logs for security purposes.
• This website does not use cookies or similar technologies, does not run analytics and does not host user accounts. If that changes, this notice and the site must be updated first.
• Providing information in an enquiry is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details and information about the enquiry. Please provide only what is necessary and avoid including medical, sexual-health or other sensitive personal information in general enquiries.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and any follow-up - our legitimate interests in communicating with people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / GDPR).
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse - our legitimate interests in protecting our systems.
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us (Article 6(1)(c)).
• We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

Your data may be shared, only so far as needed, with: companies in our group; service providers who host this website (catalyst2) and provide our email (Microsoft 365); and our professional advisers. Anyone processing data for us does so under contract and on our instructions.

5. International transfers

Our website is hosted in the UK and our email service stores data in the EU. If any of the above involves transferring your data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the applicable standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for a period afterwards, normally no more than 12 months, unless we need it longer for a legal reason. Server logs are kept for 30 days.

7. Your rights

Subject to the law, you can ask us for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, or a copy in portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Your right to object: You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed for legal claims.
